“I’ve always been a fan of JoJo, even back in the TRL days. Her talent was always out of this world. I knew that I wanted to make ‘Say So’ a duet and wanted to make sure it was with a voice I truly believed in. I saw that she was free and clear from her previous label complications, and I jumped at a chance to work with her! I reached out and she was down. She flew down to New Orleans and it all flowed so perfectly.”

when @pjmorton sent me this song and I listened for the first time i cried. just something about these chords, something about the timing of it all. now that it’s out and I’m on it and it’s flash flooding in California and I can hear the rain WOOSHING clearing out the streets all around me, I’m surely gonna cry again. let it out. today and all days. Valentine’s Day is not a real thing, it’s a consumer holiday created to make us feel there is something wrong if we’re not “boo’d up”. whether you’re playing solitaire or you’re “taken”… this is just another day on your journey. either way… hope you dig this song, it was so great going to New Orleans to record it.
