As if we didn’t lose count of the plethora of Hot 100 records broken by Drake in 2017 and 2018 (see: most time at #1 in a calendar year, most career Hot 100 hits of any solo act ever, most simultaneous Hot 100 hits, most #1 hits among rappers, etc.), it looks like he doesn’t have any plans of slowing down in 2019.
His latest chart triumph comes courtesy of Travis Scott‘s 2018 megahit, ‘Sicko Mode’ (on which the Torontoian hitmaker features). Despite debuting in the top 5 in August 2018, the song has not once dropped out of the top 10. Coming in at #10 this week, the extended stay brought with it a new chart championship.
Find out what it is inside:
Capping the Hot 100’s top 10, Travis Scott‘s former No. 1 “Sicko Mode” holds at No. 10 as it spends its 31st week (encompassing its entire run on the chart) in the top 10, the most ever for a hip-hop hit. Only four songs overall have tallied more time in the top 10:
33, “Girls Like You,” Maroon 5 feat. Cardi B, 2018-19
33, “Shape of You,” Ed Sheeran, 2017
32, “Closer,” The Chainsmokers feat. Halsey, 2016-17
32, “How Do I Live,” LeAnn Rimes, 1997-98
31, “Sicko Mode,” Travis Scott, 2018-19
