Dave Debuts At #1 With Album ‘Psychodrama’

A short while after reaching the apex of the UK singles chart, newcomer Dave has debuted atop of the album count with his first studio album ‘Psychodrama.’

The 20-year-old battled it out with Foals for the coveted #1 spot and managed to triumph  with combined sales of 26,390.

His feat was primarily driven by streams (79% of its total figure), thanks to 23.6 million track plays.

Interestingly, he pulled off the win with the slimmest of margins. For, just 279 combined copies separated him from Foals’ ‘Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost Pt 1.’ As of Monday, ‘Psychodrama’ stood at #5 in the midweek tally.

But as the age old adage goes: it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish. And Dave is #1 on the Official UK Album Chart!
