It’s been three years since the songbird hatched her sophomore album ‘Long Live The Angels’ and she’s officially ready to kick off the campaign for its follow-up.

Moments ago, the singer announced new single ‘Sparrow’ – the lead offering from her third studio effort.
And for those eager to hear the song, the wait won’t be long because it’s been confirmed for release this Friday (Match 15th).
It marks the first folk will have heard from the Brit/Zambian belter since 2017 EP ‘Kingdom Coming.’

Emeli is in a unique predicament; she came out of the gate swinging with her debut – delivering a double with off the Richter album sales and hit after charting hit. Her sophomore run was interesting in that, while critically acclaimed and a commendable seller, it was slim on singles success and arguably didn’t have as much collective resonance commercially.
As such, it’ll be all sorts of intriguing to see where this third cycle leads to.
One thing is a given, Ms. Sande is all sorts of consistent musically. Hence, we can’t wait to hear what she’s been cooking up.

Emeli represents what’s missing in the music industry … authentic artistry. I LOVED her last album and am so eager to hear new music from her. The only way this could get better is if Keri Hilson also released new music!
