After 2018 saw Mario thrill fans with ‘Drowning’ and ‘Dancing Shadows,’ the lead singles from his October-released fifth studio album, ‘Dancing Shadows,’ the Grammy-nominee gives 2019 music lovers a listen to another of the project’s gems – ‘Care For You.’
A heart-tugging tune and accompanying clip that shows the singer highlighting the inseparable bond young Black men have with their mothers, that very bond – the 32-year-old has revealed – wasn’t always accessible to him due to his late mother’s long-term addiction to drugs.

Wow Mario’s tones are EVERYTHING!?
Too late
I think I like the spirituality in the video, and this is one of my favorite songs on the album even though it’s missing a powerful bridge. I would agree that the video feels late, but for me it’s probably because his recent appearances on Empire and Rent were forgettable. The B2K tour is probably a better avenue for him to generate buzz. I was disappointed in the album at first, but some songs have grown on me. I still wish the production quality was more like his first four albums.
I love this!! The video is deep very appropriate with the message of the song
Dancing shadows is a quality album.
Very touching… I remember the show on MTV with his late mother. R.I.P.
Such a beautiful song. It’s sad when a child witnesses the indiscretions of their parents.
