It’s not the kind of video I expected, but it starts off with her living the hectic life of a celebrity and getting details over the phone about things she has missed out on. She learns that the media has written another false story about her which frustrates her and sends her into the diner where she intends to escape for a little while and observe others living the simple life that she almost wishes she had, whether it’s a casual relationship or a fun night out with friends. The waitress who comes to Rita’s rescue understands what it’s like to live a life where people treat you like you exist only to satisfy others (i.e. paparazzi, sleazy men). The song has a double meaning: “brand new” could mean brand new relationship, brand new career, etc. In the end, Rita chooses to hold on to what she already has in spite of the unwanted experiences it brings. The waitress is inspired by Rita and she reaches a point at the end where she’s ready to discover that thing for herself that she can’t let go of no matter what. She finds strength in being able to connect with Rita, and her visit to Rita’s show is an expression of that.

No matter how much they try and push Rita she just does not have that IT factor.

This rap verse is not necessy and disposable.
The couple she was loooking making out, Is that type of off and on couple wich the guy beat the s*** up of the girl until she gets killed.
Don’t get the celeb/paparazzi thing unless she’s a Big Brother Brazil contestant.
The waitress had the guts to stop all that paparazzi and allow her boss to slap her in the b*** and insult her like that?
Is the singer the girl chased by the paparazzi or the stripper starring that shithole burger restaurant that night?
