Adele has announced that she has parted ways with her husband of three years, Simon Konecki.

In a statement issued moments ago, a rep for the singer said:

“Adele and her partner have separated. They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.”

The couple share a six year old son named Angelo. 

Renown for singing about her heartbreak, the news comes as Adele amidst confirmation that she’s working on the follow-up to 2015’s mega-selling album ’25.’
