Celine Dion has dominated the charts and now is set to make her mark in the beauty sphere.
For, the songbird has just been announced as the new global spokesmodel for L’Oreal Paris!
The cosmetics giant revealed that its entered into a robust partnership with the 51-year-old, who will debut her first TV campaign for the brand’s Excellence Hair Color on April 22nd.
Beyond huge success in music, Dion has made strides as an entrepreneur – establishing perfumes and children clothing lines. All of which have faired well.
However, the L’Oreal pairing serves as her first major beauty brand contract. One she says she’s elated about.
In a statement, the singer said:
“I never saw that coming, especially at 51 years old. When you think I’m done, I’m just starting. I am finishing the shows at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. I am releasing a new English album and going on tour. And, my association with L’Oréal Paris is the beginning of a new amazing journey for me.”
She went on to add:
“I want everyone to feel that they have the right to express themselves. Whether it is through fashion and beauty, by using their voice or through something else that’s important to them…I truly admire what L’Oréal Paris stands for and I’m excited to use my voice to empower everyone to feel beautiful, confident and to learn to embrace themselves.”
