While performing a headlining set on Good Morning America‘s Summer Concert Series, the stage blazer officially announced the ‘Beauty Marks Tour.’

CiCi confirmed that she’ll be embarking on the live jaunt in support of her seventh studio project – ‘Beauty Marks’ – later this year.

You are right. I thought I was being funny but in hindsight my comment came off meanspirited instead of sarcastic so I apologize. I am happy for Ciara and I wish her well. I hope she hires some black dancers but that is her prerogative if she wants to have a strictly non-black team. Even Britney, who is white, has black dancers and so does Christina Aguilera and J-Lo and Madonna, etc all have black dancers.

Eh I know a few who didn’t listen to the album but after the BB Awards said they would definitely see her in concert. So while people may not like her new music they like her performances.
Exactly. I would never forget how they did Rihanna during Anti. They were so quick to report her one 1 sales as 1st week to discredit her. That album went on to do all sort of amazing things that they never talked about.
They ignore the flops they want to. Beyoncé and Jay-Z album was a true flop. Ciara’s album, the biggest flop of a life. But you don’t hear them write post about them tho.

Beauty Marks makes Anti and even Everything is Love look like Thriller in comparison. Even TLC’s gofundme album is a runaway success compared to this Ciara album which had tons of promotion.

People are interested in Ciara the person, not necessarily her music. People would love to see her. She has star quality. She has 22mil+ ig followers. Her table top interview has so much buzz around it. People will be tuned in. People know who she is. When I went to see her in 2015. The venue was sold out. With the Level up movement she has become a lot more known. People showed her so much love. She doesn’t make money joining other artists on their tours. Co headline yes, but not opening like for Bruno Mars. She is smart for doing her own tour.

The problem with Ciara is that she is not in demand. There is not enough people checking for her to ever be a headliner and she already past her peak. Her dancing has gotten worse instead of better and she is no longer relevant.

I think Ciara have gotten too caught up in the Hollywood life. She is more known for being Russell Wilson’s wife and what she wears at red carpet events than for her music. She have allowed her personal life to overshadow her career. Her marriage and being a socialite are keeping her relevant. She is still an amazing performer and dancer, but that unfortunately is not what people are checking for at this point. Ciara is trying to hold on to what little bit is left of her music career but I think it’s time for for her to get the hint and focus on something else. She has her own record label now. She can develop her own artists. She and Russell started a production company. She should reinvent herself in the fashion world. I can see her having a fashion line. She has so many friends and connections in the fashion world that can help her. Ciara should just focus on business and her family.

But I’m still here for the possibilities of STRETCH MARKS going Lent. Solange sales looks so good compared to so many more mainstream acts that actually PROMOTE.

Pause. All this time I read the comments about the all Caucasian staff I thought it was just about her administration and executive departments. She really doesn’t have not one visibly African American dancer on that stage?! Yo, that’s a valid, genuine, and major concern. It could also be valid reason for people to not support her. As a business women/ ceo, she should know diversity inclusion is important, so much so that Fortune 500 companies are intentional about it. I’m trying not to assume but the obvious is.. brown faces aren’t there and despite her possibly not doing it on purpose, it doesn’t remover her for being responsible nor being held accountable.
