The Country star has held the top spot on the US chart for several weeks and is now the reason Taylor Swift is unlikely to ever see the position with her brand new jam ‘ME.’
‘Old Town‘ earned $397,814 in the last week and retained the top spot even after suffering a sales dip of 11% and faced competition from the likes of Billie Eilish‘s ‘Bad Guy‘, Post Malone’s and Swae Lee‘s ‘Sunflower’ and its closest competitor ‘ME.’
That track generated $349,000 in its opening week and is on course to soar just as high globally as it paints the path for its parent album…Taylor’s seventh.
