After TV fans learned that Steve Harvey’s talkshow tenure was to come to an end, today sees them discover that Cardi B is on her way to filling a fun-filled void with a new series named ‘Bocktails with Cardi’ and is.said to share similarities with Andy Cohen’s ‘Watch What Happens Live.’
TMZ reports…
As for the premise, according to the trademark documents, she’s laying claim to “entertainment services in the nature of providing ongoing episodes for distribution via television and the Internet featuring celebrities and artists.”
A talkshow for the Hip-Pop star will see her follow in the footsteps of Queen Latifah, Angie Martinez, Kelly Clarkson…all musicians who stepped into the world of broadcasting.
Cardi’s sophomore album is set to sail into stores later on this year powered by a wave of the new tracks she and her creative camp have been working tirelessly to perfect.

Mardi strikes me more as an off-the-cuff comedian. Unsure reading off of a prompter would preserve her zest from artifice. But that girl is ambitious, so you never know how far this endeavor will take her. A Youtube show à la Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai, or even Jeffree Star might just be right up her alley-cat-noises-turned-catchphrases. I say, why not? Just e-n-u-n-c-i-a-t-e.
