Christina Aguilera brought all sorts of fire to the debut night of her Las Vegas residency ‘The Xperience’ at the Zappos Theater.
Backed by an army of dancers, Xtina journeyed through her classic catalogue – delivering live renditions of hits such as ‘Genie In A Bottle,’ ‘Fighter,’ and ‘Dirrty.’
The diva also delivered a meaty medley of ‘Bionic’ tracks and also offered up the first live performance of ‘Lotus’ bop ‘Your Body.’

Well Beyonce is really timeless. Any music she puts out there becomes a hit and she doesn’t even need to tour. Mariah has had the most #1 than any other woman and in December her songs top the charts. I agree about China though. She still doesn’t have a genre or style she’s consistently maintained and hasn’t really had a huge hit since 2006 AND on top of that she hasnt even worked or toured in over 10 years. The woman is struggling that’s for sure

Not sure about the vocal rearrangements/remixes for stage – but it was good to hear her opening with Your Body FINALLY.
I’m not sure what it is but I’m a ut underwhelmed. Vegas is a huge thing and this just wasnt Vegas enough for me, I didnt like the intro… at least the first part of the intro. I dont like these rock remixes shes doing, she has great music just not sure about this one.
LMAO @ ‘Vegas is a huge thing’. When was the last time you went there? Bellagio and Wynn buffets have gone to sh|t. Diva Celine has left the city. The casinos no longer give you free top shelf when you gamble…only rot gut even if you ask for top shelf they lie and bring u rot gut like I don’t know the damn difference. The clubs are wack (even though I always get in free. Don’t be a sucker and pay 20 to 50 cover. Get on the vip and bring some hot women with u to get in free). The Vegas shows are just money grabs from stars of yester year. The best show will be Janet because she clocks in at about 1 hour 45 minutes (including outfit changes). The rest of the shows are about an hour long (including outfit changes).
Now for Xtina, she is singing LIVE. She lost some weight. She looks great and is moving good. The problem is her voice sounds like a WWE announcer and not a singer. No melodies. No harmonies. Just shouting like an announcer. Well, there is an audience for that (I guess). It ain’t me though. Sounds like she needs to drink lots of water, get some vocal coaching, and learn how to sing again, even if it means singing with a boosted volume mic. The talk shouting thing is irritating to my ears.

Hi John yes and no. I feel Celine is one of the biggest divas Vegas has had and she left at the right time because Vegas is tired now. I feel Liberace is the biggest Vegas diva even though he is before my time. Celine represented the new Vegas (aka Las Vegas Boulevard) but Liberace represented both new and old Vegas (Freemont St and Las Vegas Boulevard) and has a long history of performing there and bringing the expected extravaganza to the Vegas stage.

Her voice is messy as pfuck. It always was, but from 2010 and on… a disaster. She still can do incredible things at certain moments because she has those pipes there. But baby… and the way she refused to ever go back in shape… I don´t totally get it. She is a thin girl on nature. If she were a big girl I would understand. It´s hard to be a s**** of image. But girl you were always thin. Another thing these over- retouched faces look HORRIBLE with make up on. I must admit she looks good without make up. It´s something I´ve noticed it happens with people who has done surgery on face. Cher never looked this bad but many people have said her face looked better without make up. I think it´s Gaga´s case too.
