Despite efforts from many, A$AP Rocky‘s legal woes have just gone from bad to worse. Because he’s officially been charged with aggravated assault.

The rapper will remain in the Swedish prison he’s been sat in for the last few weeks after a physical altercation he and two friends had with a group they argue were harassing them.
Since their arrest, the trio have insisted they were acting in self-defence. But Swedish prosecutors now say they have additional evidence (such as eye witness accounts) that suggest otherwise.
Daniel Suneson, from the City Public Prosecution Office, said in a statement:
“I have today commenced criminal proceedings against the three individuals suspected of assault causing actual bodily harm, having come to the conclusion that the events in question constitute a crime and despite claims of self-defense and provocation.”
As at stands, A$AP – who prosecutors are billing a flight risk – faces six years in prison.
To date, the likes of Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and US President Donald Trump have attempted to intervene on his behalf.

G-Eazy believes racism is behind A$AP Rocky‘s lengthy detainment in Sweden.
“This is the sad truth … The difference between me and Rocky’s treatment in Sweden brings to mind two concepts that disgustingly go hand in hand: white privilege and systemic racism,” the “Me, Myself & I” rapper tweeted on Friday. “Let’s call it what it is. He should not be behind bars right now. My heart goes out to @asvpxrocky.”
In May 2018, G-Eazy, 30, was arrested in Stockholm for assault and drug possession.
He did not face jail time after lunging at security during an attack aimed at a fan and police finding him in possession of approximately 1.5 ounces of cocaine. Instead, he paid a $9,000 fine and restitution to the victim.
