For, Janet Jackson has enlisted none other than Ty Dolla $ign for the new music she’s cooking up.

It’s coming up to a year since Jackson dropped the well-received ‘Made For Now’ and a project of fresh material was touted as following soon.
And while her mega-selling ‘Metamorphosis’ residency in Las Vegas has been keeping her busy, the music royal still has music on the mind.
Much of its creation is being shrouded in secrecy, however Ty – in a new interview with Spin – was quizzed about Ms. Jackson and revealed that he’s “jumping on” a track he was sent by the singer. Watch below [from the 1.38 mark]..
A skilled singer, songwriter, and producer, Ty is very much an exciting prospect when it comes to a Janet collab.
Commercially, he’s one of Urban’s most notable/omnipresent hook and feature artists too.

I don’t care who Janet Jackson collaborates with long ,as it’s something up temple with the dance beat.
This is creatively a TERRIBLE look for him. All the songs Ty have become a part of are forgettable trash that the major labels push. I hate that Janet settles for Ty as far as the artists of the 2010s. Do better, sis.
Whatever happened to the EP that Janet kept teasing? I’ll be honest.. Janet seems a bit disconnected musically. She’s never been a trend follower, but she’s obviously trying to remain true to herself while still being current. The problem is, most of her recent work has been dated. Not that it truly matters because she’s legendary, but if you’re gonna do it auntie…DO IT!

Janet is smartly waiting until next year to release her new highly anticipated album. Since that’ll set a record for her having eight consecutive number one albums in a roll in each decade.
I personally think….if it’s something slow and smooth (I Get Lonely, Anything, Anyplace Anytime, Do You Mind) it could pretty much be magical. If they try for his usual sound that she attempted on Damn Baby, it would be trash. Ty Dolla $ign is a damn good singer, one of the best male singers out right now, but his music is dated and usually flops because it all sounds the same and nothing he releases pushes him vocally. Same with his collaborations.
The collaboration he did with Mariah was the sh!t! I think that joint was so slept on.

IKR they jump on just to hate. I’m pretty sure there are many priorities in their life that needs attention but instead they shine the light on Jan. Janet catches everyone’s attention good or bad. That’s what it all about. Gotta love the haters they keep Janet relevant as well. #JANFAM
If you are a true Janet fan whenever the mention of new music from her you get excited. The fact that she is even putting out new music tell you she does it because she loves her fans and her music. I will buy it just because it is Janet. So many haters.
