Tank has always been outspoken and isn’t cowering to the backlash received from some corners of the net following his interview on Angela Yee’s ‘Lip Service.’
As reported, during the appearance, the R&B singer aligned with the argument that a man receiving oral stimulation from another man “doesn’t make him gay” automatically. He would go on to unpack a stance centered around experimentation and how it doesn’t define orientation.
His words sparked widespread debate, with some concurring with his point and others ripping him for it.
Unfazed, Tank is sticking to his stance and quite literally declaring that “I said what I said!”

The singer – whose new album ‘Elevation’ arrives on October 25th – cited “homophobia” as the root of the critique and added:
“We all are not the same and the beauty of exchanging information is what i enjoy. You don’t have to agree with someones difference to not hate them. Lets try to find our way back to positivity and love. It’s a better place..?”
