After seeing her relationship with Whitney Houston documented by others, Robyn Crawford is telling their story in her own words.
Tomorrow brings with it the release of ‘A Song For You,’ the memoir of the woman who was one of Houston’s closest confidants for the most poignant years of her life and – as she recently revealed – one of her early lovers.

Ensuring that she’s sharing her narrative on her terms, the 58-year-old sat down with Craig Melvin on the Today Show to elaborate.
During the candid and, at times, emotional conversation, Crawford detailed her reasons for speaking up, her love for Whitney, and kept it 100 about Bobby Brown being “annoying.”

Echoing earlier sentiments, we’re here for Robyn sharing her truth. Just observing her facial expression when the mention of Whitney’s death, really re-affirmed how authentic her love for Nippy is and how genuine her intent is about speaking up.
