Published: Monday 16th Dec 2019 by David

Mathew Knowles is giving fans fresh insight into Destiny’s Child ascent to superstardom and the bumps they faced along the way.

The mogul sat down with Vlad TV to engage in the insightful discussion and revealed that he once urged Solange to join the group and was disappointed when she rejected the idea.

She went on to release a thrilling Urban Pop debut set named ‘Solo Star’ which was powered by her collaboration with Disney’s ‘The Proud Family‘ and a duet with her sister Beyonce and collaborations with Bow Wow, Da Brat and NORE.

Watch below…

‘Solo Star’ was released on December 26th 2002 and opened with pure sales of 112,000 units thanks to hype generated by its launch single ‘Feelin’ U’ which, despite failing to impact the Billboard Hot 100, enjoyed an impactful critical run globally.

Mathew Knowles has been saying a lot of lies and fairytales in this Vlad interview. I’m sure this Solange story is also a lie.

We already know this. She was literally dancing backup as well when Farrah left. Why he keeps releasing these info no one ask for.

I think any other story needs to be untold until it is time for an official DC4 biopic or movie like dream girls, which we still have 20 yrs to go before that.

Why is he doing interviews with anyone who’ll listen? We don’t care sir. Even Kelly isn’t acknowledging any of this.

Cant believe the public didnt cancel Solange for physically assaulting jay z in that elevator

If it was a man that did that shìt, he will be over. he will be arrested also

Here comes the Jay z cheated on beyonce.
    So?
Beating and punching is not how adults resolve conflicts and disagreements.

Demeaning Black women across several accounts like Havana is adult behavior?

      • Clarks0oñ December 16, 2019

Continuing playing that race card, u will never go anywhere in life.

Just because they are black women, we are not allowed to criticize their behaviour or careers?

Solange is supposed to be cancelled for that behaviour she displayed in that elevator.

Don’t you have some streaming and purchasing to do?

      • Clarks0oñ December 16, 2019

        1.4 billion streams combined,
The album makes 10 million dollars weekly, Camila is good, now back to the topic at hand.

If a dude did what Solange, he would be cancelled and yall know it

      YaY and NaY

What’s the matter sales to art?! I enjoyed Solo Star a huge bunch. More than S****** & Co Playback B****** could do combined in their entire lifetime – no matter their artificial hyped up generated sales. Mankind is overwhelmingly stupid, buying the more, the more getting plastered in their face without asking for it in the first place. Personally thus makes me mad angry and will only make sure to never spent a cent.

It’s still one of the most uplifting feel good song on down days. Too bad for all the Tschasssdin Weener & Kackassians victims.

… for the record. Their legacy. Flukk censorship. I grew up on early 90ies rap! What da problem NOW all of a sudden 30 yrs later. Snowflake community.

I’m sorry Solange, but Sadie already exists.

Real DC fans already knew this! Next!

It’s soooo nice to go back to 2001/2002 Survivor/Solo Star and MWM – no Jay-Z, no NWO, no 20/20!

BUT like what’s the ‘breaking NEWS’?
It was the main chatter amongst fans on DC-Unplugged Fanclub Forum run even by MWM before the release of Solo Star. Even staff poll how fans would feel about Solange joining the group officially when she was dancing background already numerous times. Testing the acknowledgement after to many member changes in short time. Yet since the solo career was somewhat succeeding going forward it stuck like that.
Is that Grapejuice not run anymore by the person setting it up?!?? It emerged out of that DC fan-scene.
Starting out with Destiny’s Child, Michael Jackson and only real great few main artists then slowly covering more and more all music news but now that there is no music anymore for a decade – what’s the drive für keep going?!?? You were one of the first of those ‘blogs’ I’m not to keen on. Mainly only did click your blog next to official music pages. Müllenials ruined it all! Only the time Machine 1980 – 2002/2003 gives a good mood!
