Billie Eilish Lands ‘James Bond’ Theme Song ‘No Time To Die’

Published: Tuesday 14th Jan 2020 by Sam

It’s official! Billie Eilish has bagged the coveted James Bond ‘No Time To Die’ theme song.

And is making history in the process.

Details below…

The news was trumpeted from the movie’s social channels, as well as Eilish’s.

Notable was the touted fact that the gig makes the 17-year-old the youngest artist in history to write and record a James Bond theme song.

She penned the cut alongside brother Finneas. Meanwhile Hans Zimmer will helm the score.

Much ado is oft made about the Bond theme, which – like the films – boasts a rich history. With the likes of Tina Turner, Adele, and Sam Smith lending their talents to some of the most recognisable and critically acclaimed musical contributions to the Bond franchise.

So, in more ways than one, this serves as a huge coup for Eilish whose breakout success has been the definition of incredible.

‘No Time To Die,’ the movie, hits theaters April 2nd in the UK (and April 10th in the US). As such, it’s safe to expect its title track imminently.

As hard as it is for a lot of people to admit, I think it’s over for Beyoncé. Everyone’s star fades out eventually and she’s at that age now and can’t seem to shift her music. Everything Is Love, Homecoming, Lion King. The sales decline is real.

And she is the only one to blame. Everybody wanted to work with her. Clint Eastwood and Bradley Cooper wanted her for ASIB.

She had the voice, beauty and talent to be one of the greatest. She used to be respected for her talent and hard work.

Now she is « respected » because of her wealth and that’s it. She is way too arrogant and stupid. She let her career and image die. So she deserved the flops she is facing.

        I agree.

She’s nothing more than a Kim Kardashian clone these days.

      • Dc January 14, 2020

Agree she’s overrated and her hype doesn’t live up to her sales or chart performance

      • SMH January 14, 2020

Lol Bradley Cooper didn’t want her for ASIB. She was only connected to it when Clint Eastwood was the original director, but he backed out of the job & it went to Bradley, and he requested Gaga for the part.

I kind of agree even her adipark promo is not taking off…. she let the success of the suprise release get to her head, and the fake pro black movement is tired and gimicky at this point. Rihanna and Ms Swift are the only remaining powerful pop girls… she could have sat with them but time for her to bow down and bow out coase the next project will be the final nail.

Lol huh??? Everything is love won best contemporary album at the Grammys & the lion king movie did numbers!! Get over it!! The Queen will always reign!! Beyonce does what she wants, when she wants!! Her days of worrying about numbers are OVER! She’s already a icon! Foh

I think Beyoncé’s problem was the (wrong) perception she had of what the general public wanted in a popstar.
All her will to stand in the spotlight and to be in everybody’s mouth made her image very tainted.
She became almost a reclusive popstar, i doubt any of her fans know how is she as a real person and this in 2020 where all of us get updates weekly or sometimes daily abt our favourite singers made her look unrelatable to her possible audience.

Blame her secretive Scorpio moon and crowd-pleaser Libra rising. Her Leo Mars makes her wanna be worshipped more than respected. The stars aside, she should smile more; her thuggish stares scare more than up her mystique.

  3. K_man January 14, 2020

Wtf!!! The theme should’ve went to Dua Lipa, Lana Del Rey or Ellie Goulding.

    • Shayla Queen January 14, 2020

      I agree with Lana, actually.

      24 is a great Bond-type song, sonically.

Meg can’t rap and decides to spew the sane old lines ? While jumping about with that fat ass like that’s all she has to get attention like the fat no-talent having pig she is.

      • ??? January 14, 2020

lmaooooo yeah it would sound like a camiltoe cabbage song lmfaoooooooo

  6. Sweetnothings78 January 14, 2020

Sorry but I don’t care if times change for me a bond theme needs a strong large vocal range that usually comes from likes of Beyonce etc.
I’d much prefer the richness and sound of a black womans voice with the high notes or at least Celine or Jessie J.

Not here for this edgy stuff! A belter of high notes

    • Cûûmila Cebolla January 14, 2020

Large vocal range like Beyonce ?

      Beyoncé is NOT a vocalist.

      • ??? January 14, 2020

lmaooooooo facts, the bug tried it lmfaooooooo

      • PinotNoir January 15, 2020

        She is.

        It’s just her tone grates.

    • Shayla Queen January 14, 2020

The industry isn’t there to cater to only what you’d “much prefer.”

      Beyoncé – robotic, non-emotive “vocals”?

Or Billie Eilish – whispery, yet chilling and emotive? I think she’s going to pull a huge trick out of the bag!

  7. Paulo January 14, 2020

I’m not a fan of Billie but I’m glad she’s decided to donate the profits of this tune to our charity #Shower4Shayla

  8. PinotNoir January 15, 2020

Too early for mini Emily Blunt.

As it was for Samantha Smith.

    Who’s next: Rebecca Black?!?
