Rihanna was better off saying nothing at all, rather than disappointing her fans like that. I’m not pressed for a new album since I have 8 albums worth of material to revisit at any given moment, but I feel her stans pain.

Her fans truly need to calm down. There was a point she was pumping out songs every year. They should appreciate that she is now hopefully taking the time to make a real well thought out album/project (like anti). Artists used to take around four years so I hope all this time reveals a quality album/project. It gross for fans to be making demands and putting that kind of pressure on an artist. If her album isn’t good or is even so so her fans will only make it worse. And I prefer the element of surprise when it comes to album releases. It is refreshing and whatever her new look will be it should all be of high quality and not some tacky effort as her fans would be ready to receive.

I dont understand the need for Ri fans to demand an album considering they have been pressing her for a Anti follow up since 2018. It’s only been 3 years this month since Anti dropped. They would make you think she had some kind of Brandy/Xtina delay of 5,6, or 7 more plus years.
