@Dee: What 19th century touring paradigm do you speak from? If you study the industry, you know that the money to be made for legendary acts THESE DAYS is in touring. And with a catalogue like Janet’s, she can play dates for awhile. Now don’t get me wrong, I want new music as much as the next fan but it is no longer necessary to promote a tour. Just give a good show (which she is more that capable of) and engage social media properly…
I know you really want to believe what you wrote. Janet has toured at least 3 times not including festivals, fairs(kidding) with the same material. This is a now generation. They and I want something new, fresh, relevant, and popping.
