While former Fifth Harmony hitmaker Ally Brooke had just begun rocking stages across America on her inaugural solo headlining jaunt (the ‘Time to Shine’ tour), her former bandmate – Dinah Jane – was gearing up to do the same on an even bigger scale via her self-titled trek, ‘The Dinah Jane Tour.’
Much to the dismay of their fan bases, however, the ‘Work from Home’ singers will be forced to do just that as they have pressed pause on their respective itineraries due to the coronavirus pandemic.
More inside:
First, Brooke took to Instagram to announce the postponement of her nationwide outing.
The caption reads:
“I am so devastated to announce that my last show will be tonight in Boston due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Due to the state of New York’s ban of public gatherings, we were informed this afternoon my show at The Paramount on Saturday and my show at the Gramercy Theatre Monday will have to be postponed.
All other shows will be postponed as well.
I’m really heartbroken as my team and I have worked tirelessly on this show, and I was so excited to bring it across the country and hopefully eventually the world. But what matters most is you guys’ health and safety, and the safety of us all. This show is my everything, my first baby, my heart, and I cannot lie I am very sad, but this just means that God has better timing. I trust Him. Thank you to those who came to my first few shows, I’m so happy and thankful that I at least got to bring it to a few of you. We shared amazing moments in a short amount of time. Please everyone stay safe out there. I love you guys so much. God bless you all, and our world during this very tough and crazy time. We will be back. #TimetoShineTour“

Almost a week later, Jane – who just recently spoke exclusively to That Grape Juice about her forthcoming world tour (click here to read that) – took to social media to report the event’s kick off date had been pushed back.
