Preceded by singles ‘Heartless’ and ‘Blinding Lights’ (both of which topped charts worldwide), the set has been hotly tipped for big things.

Of the total figure, streaming accounted for 160,000-200k. Elsewhere, an album/tour-ticket bundle helped generously – drumming up numbers to the tune of 200,000.
The feat sees Abel amass sales in the neighbourhood of the 411k tallied by 2015’s ‘Beauty Behind The Madness,’ while easily besting the 348,000 achieved by 2016’s ‘Starboy.’
Perhaps most notable is that the fact that the numbers put him in contention for biggest opening of 2020. No small feat given the panic over the present pandemic.
