Watch: Toni Braxton Performs New Song ‘Do It’ Live (from Home)

Published: Monday 20th Apr 2020 by Rashad

With little warning (but great appreciation), R&B icon Toni Braxton dropped her latest single, ‘Do It,’ two weeks ago.

The first fruit of her new venture with Island Records, the warmly received tune boasts the highest radio chart debut of her solo career as it premiered at #13 on the Adult R&B Songs chart (the tally that measures the airplay of songs played on Urban Adult Contemporary radio stations).

With hopes of seeing that fanfare reflected on the Hot 100 ahead of the August 2020 release of tune’s parent album, Toni took to YouTube to amp up buzz by sharing the inaugural live performance of ‘Do It.’

Look below to see her show ’em how it’s done:

Nice song, but what in the heck has she done to her face?

    • eric April 21, 2020

It’s just makeup, not a physical alteration. I saw her up close and personal at a meet & greet.

WHAT is this new trend of LIPPING to your own song and passing it off as “Showing ’em how it’s done”???? This is NOT Drag Race – I have all the time in the world for Toni and can understand why the children can’t relate to talent (see Doja Cat “singing live” at home recently) but even Stevie Wonder can see Toni is NOT singing ?. Maybe a better approach might be to do some snippets of live belts of portions of the track to the track instead of this pointless lipping for THE GAWDS into your iPhone ???‍♂️??‍♂️??‍♂️

She’s a b*tch, do less to have more.

So is your mother for birthing your ignorant dumb a**. Go read a book you illiterate POS or stick a d*** in your mouth and STFU you q****!!!

The article is misleading. This was a video performance enhanced for the “Do It” lyric video which you can go and watch on YouTube. This “lace performance” is the same video but unedited.

This is NOT considered a “live” performance, by any means. It wasn’t labeled nor promoted that way. The title to this performance is: Lace Performance. Not LIVE but LACE. TGJ needs to learn how to word things correctly, especially if you’re a gossip BLOG.

This is the lace performance of the video….not LIVE ugh journalism at its worse

I really like the song but then again I love her music and I have been to so many of Toni shows. Her music has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life. I have been sick in and out of hospital and ms Braxton music has always got me through my hard time.
