The femcee is still strutting the promo trail and called into the Zach Sang Show, where she gave quite the candid interview.
During their convo, Hot Girl Meg opened up about what is was like working with Queen Bey and the reaction to their song. She also touched on her adamance about finishing college and her forthcoming studio album.

I really thought for a second there meg career was going nowhere but I’m glad she pushed through….she was heading into insta model/tower territory. Kudos to her for turning it around. But I’m just hoping this is it with trap bey, I want bey back to singing.
SHE IS GOING NOWHERE. Look at Billboard. all her entries and none hit top 10. not even Savage alone made it to the top 10. Hot Girl Summer was her biggest song UNTIL Beyonce pushed her song into the top 10. After Savage dies down she will go back to same territory she was in. somewhere lost in the charts. TIK TOK + Beyonce gave her a hit. Now I do listen to her music I am no hater but it is clear to see she doesn’t have that power of a big star (yet) or who knows maybe she will just be someone with (mid) success. Same thing goes for Doja after Say So dies down she will likely be where she was before this 1 hit.
I disagree. I think Doja Cat is kind of in her own league among female rappers. SaySo was blowing up before the remix and any TikTok videos. Meg, I’m a fan for sure but she is independent. So she doesn’t have a big machine per say but she is signed to Roc Nation for management. Maybe
