Little Mix set sail on a hyper hot ‘Holiday’ last week with the release of their latest single.
The infectious track, which is lifted from the ladies upcoming sixth studio album, looks poised to open strong on the charts.

Per current data, ‘Holiday’ is pacing towards a #9 start on the Official UK Singles Chart.
The number mirrors the debut and peak of preceding single ‘Break Up Song.’
And while that track’s performance is commendable (especially in light of the promotional hurdles presented by the global health crisis), ‘Holiday’ could well best it.
For, it notably will benefit from the launch of its forthcoming music video (which the Pop quad confirmed has been shot), super strong iTunes sales, and growing streams.
On the cusp of their 10th year together (with next to no breaks), the success of Little Mix continues to remould the expectations (and perceived expiration) of girl-groups.

They need to grow up real quick and stop singing kidz bops, . Their fans are all grown up and many are in college right now, they are not going to be jamming to childish songs.

Little Mix are operating in their own lane. There isn’t even a girl group in the US at the moment apart from PCD who are the exactly opposite end of the scale to little mix. There’s easily room for both acts. Little Mix constantly score top ten hits. They’re doing abosutely. Go and advise Camicky, Noremoney, Tinash-it etc if you’re such an expert.

There was a time when they would debut easily at number 1 in the UK. Now they are barely scraping the top 10. They are also missing in action on any other major music chart. I’m calling it now there will be a 10 year anniversary your and then a “hiatus”.

Very unlikely, they have a multi-album deal with RCA.
A multi album deal means the artist is required to record the albums not for the record company to release them. They can terminate the deal or wrap it up early with a greatest hits, b-sides or unreleased tracks collection.
I guess playing victims pays off.
