Bobby Shmurda Denied Parole

Bobby Shmurda has reportedly been denied parole.

TMZ first reported the news that the rapper will now remain in jail until 2021, the full-length of his seven-year sentence.

A spokesperson from the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision told Complex:

“Following his Sept. 15, 2020, interview with the Board of Parole, Ackquille Pollard was denied release and given a hold until the maximum expiration of his sentence on December 11, 2021.”

The rapper who rose to fame with his song ‘Hot N***’ has racked up almost a dozen violations for rug possession, fighting, having a weapon, and other offenses while behind bars.

Shmurda was first arrested in 2014 on charges of conspiracy to possess weapons and possession of a weapon charges. His next chance of release is December 2021.
