New Video: Lady Gaga – ‘911’

Published: Friday 18th Sep 2020 by Sam

Lady Gaga dials ‘911’ for her next musical extravaganza.

The Pop supernova has unleashed the high-octane video for the track, which is lifted from her chart-topping album ‘Chromatica.’

Following on the tall heels of Billboard #1 ‘Rain On Me,’ the song has already received healthy buzz in the wake of preceding interlude ‘Chromatica II’ going viral on TikTok.

What are you waiting for? New Gaga awaits after the jump…

Speaking on the visual, Mother Monster:

This short film is very personal to me, my experience with mental health and the way reality and dreams can interconnect to form heroes within us and all around us. I’d like to thank my director/filmmaker Tarsem for sharing a 25 year old idea he had with me because my life story spoke so much to him. I’d like to thank Haus of Gaga for being strong for me when I wasn’t, and the crew for making this short film safely during this pandemic without anyone getting sick. It’s been years since I felt so alive in my creativity to make together what we did with “911”. Thank you @Bloodpop for taking a leap of faith with me to produce a record that hides in nothing but the truth. Finally, thank you little monsters. I’m awake now, I can see you, I can feel you, thank you for believing in me when I was very afraid. Something that was once my real life everyday is now a film, a true story that is now the past and not the present. It’s the poetry of pain.

Trippy and may polarize, but another interesting addition to Gaga’s videography.

The ending sewed it all together.

In any case, what are…

Your thoughts?

  3. Tamar+Her September 18, 2020

Boring. She’s only interesting when she’s copying Madonna.

  4. POPS+MUVA September 18, 2020

This one is full of imagery.. you would quite have to know in order to understand. I wish she would’ve added some choreo and s*** looks to this

  5. stan September 18, 2020

    absolutely love it

  6. Clarks0o0ñ September 18, 2020

    No choreography
    Awful makeup and hair
    Awful costumes

Gaga has really regressed as an artist

The old gaga will serve us looks, choreography, etc

    This video is nothing .
    Gaga has peaked

Just incredible. I would say one of her best videos to date. The layers were just mind blowing. Watch it twice, the second time will blow you away.

And for those that missed it she called it a short film. If you were expecting choreography, I’m sure she’ll give you some next time. 🖤

Give it up Gagz, you look like a man

So having choreography means the video would be better ? Some of you have very basic and low expectations.

I don’t even care like that about her in the first place. But that was well executed. And much more thoughtful than dancing around.
Didn’t she do the whole choreo thing in her 2 previous singles anyway ?

I like the fact she went for references that aren’t popular at all like some Armenian movies. Great job.

Now regarding the song itself… I’ll pass on that one.

I love the ending car accident & EMS scene. The others are just meh, nothin groundbreaking, thought 911 will has the whole dance choreography, instead of doing some non sense robotic move

YES GAGA! Watched it three times in a row! What a beautiful, interesting and creative music video harking back to classic MTV days!!! I love how Chromatica II and Chromatica III sounds delivering a perfectly cinematic experience! 911 (and the entire Chromatica album) will sound awesome forever (even in 3088)! 🙂

    • xtina4ever September 18, 2020

Are u serious this dance stuff she’s done for this album is out dated. I like it but it’s not ground breaking album lol.

      • me September 18, 2020

        @xtina4ever

    • Elite mir September 18, 2020

      • Check Ur Lipsticks B4 U Come 4 Me! September 18, 2020

Ur a mess too for believing that

  12. xtina4ever September 18, 2020

Lmfao what is this mess of a video. Wheres the chromatica vibe that follows the last 2 lol. Doesn’t make sense at all and the worst song to chose after rain on me. Alice would of been a better choice.

    • me September 18, 2020

It makes perfect sense if only you had a brain.

    • 1988 September 18, 2020

This music video is brilliant! It’s extremely personal to her. All the connections are in there from the broken bicycle at the very start of the music video to the ‘Armenian Film Festival’ she obviously was coming from when she had the accident. The imagery in the “dream trip” of a video is inspired heavily by “The Color Of Pomegranates”. You also see the pomegranates in the opening shots as well. The director had some of these ideas for 25 years (another fact I love). Would you rather she represented mental illness in a straight jacket again like she has done before and we all have seen before by countless artists? Not me….I absolutely love this visual….I love the music video down to the 80’s Reeboks she was wearing…lol. 🙂

  13. Clayne September 18, 2020

It gives me a “not as good Judas” video vibe

But I do like the song, video is lackluster but it’s C**** times so hmmm

  14. FOH September 18, 2020

OMG how can yall be this ignorant… the song and video ties into mental depression… the imagery represents what our brains go through during one of those horrific episodes when we black out… its deeper than music but yall too damn dumb to know that

    • 1988 September 18, 2020

      Exactly!!! haha 🙂
