Concerns for the welfare of rapper 6ix9ine mounted today, after a report hit the wire alleging that the star has suffered an overdose.
Well, it’s been confirmed that he was indeed taken into medical care.
But there’s a twist.

While some speculated that drugs were at play, it’s been revealed that the source of his health issues was…weight loss pills.
The Shade Room reported:
Tekashi was hospitalized two days ago in Florida after he had 2 Hydroxycut pills, instead of the recommended 1 per day, which increased his heart rate and caused him to sweat excessively while in front of his computer. Tekashi tells us that this, along with drinking a McDonald’s coffee, kicked his overdose reaction into gear. If you aren’t familiar, hydroxycut is a weight-loss brand.
Tekashi also tells us that he was only taking hydroxycut and not drugs—not just because he doesn’t do drugs—but because of his strict probation that would send him right back to the slammer if he was poppianna.
In addition, 69 tells us that he gained a lot of weight after he left prison. He’s currently down almost 25 lbs and plans to keep going until he’s at his goal weight of 150 lbs before he makes his return to the ‘gram.
The MC is believed to be better and event went jogging today.
Still, this serves as yet another rollacoaster chapter for 6ix9ine since being released from prison earlier this year.

Sounds like a lie to me! I took Hydroxycut around ten years ago back when I used to drink damn near a pot of coffee a day. I didn’t end up in nobody’s hospital. This boy overdosed on some narcotics. I’ll wait for TMZ to give us the receipts.
