Of the 14 songs that line The Weeknd‘s latest blockbuster album, ‘After Hours,’ 8 of them cracked the Hot 100’s top 20 (‘Alone Again,’ ‘Too Late,’ ‘Scared to Live,’ ‘Snowchild,’ ‘Heartless,’ ‘Blinding Lights,’ ‘After Hours (the song)’ and ‘In Your Eyes’).
As it relates to the latter (which has stalled at #16 to date), previous bids to push it into top 10 status on the tally has come via a cinematic video and a number of remixes including a critically acclaimed rendition with Doja Cat.
Now, The Weeknd (born Abel Tesfaye) is taking another crack at it by enlisting fellow GRAMMY winner/legendary Jazz saxophonist Kenny G for the tune’s latest revamp.

Detractors who are hoping Tesfaye’s reign will end with 2020 will be disappointed to learn he took to Twitter earlier this week (October 13) to confirm even more videos from the ‘After Hours’ era will be launching in the coming weeks.
