No. She is an alto. And she has a unique texture to her voice. Its deep raspy and has a beautiful screech. Its about her tone, and her placement and her harmonies and stacking and layering of her vocals. The new age singers ain’t giving harmonies.they probably cant do it or dont have the ear for it. But brandy is also a versatile singer. If she is mostly a vocalist but she can be a belter when need be. Only the people who are not singer dont understand why she is the vocal bible

Brandy is way better than this Billboard performance. The choreography didn’t fit, and the live music arrangement was great, but it drowned out her voice.
