Music is proving itself therapeutic for DaBaby after the loss of his older brother, Glenn Johnson.
As we posted here, Johnson died two weeks ago by a self-inflicted gunshot wound – news DaBaby (born Jonathan Kirk) responded to at the time by not only thanking supporters for their condolences but also emphasizing the importance of prioritizing mental health to his fans (click here to read more).
Now, he’s taken to the booth to honor Glenn.

On Wednesday (November 18), Kirk – as seen above – took to social media to share a snippet of a new song, ‘My Brother’s Keeper,’ and unveil its accompanying artwork (a childhood photo of the two).
“Feel like a prisoner in my mind / No one to talk to,” he raps on the heart-tugging tune. “Never let depression go unchecked / That sh*t will cost you.”
