The promo trail has been bombarded with the footsteps of 7-member boyband BTS in preparation for the November 20 launch of their first English-Korean language album, ‘BE.’
Kicked off by the explosive lead single ‘Dynamite,’ the K-Pop septet have performed the chart-topping hit at the 2020 MTV VMAs, 2020 Billboard Music Awards, 2020 American Music Awards, on a weeklong residency at ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,’ and a weeklong residency at ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ (as we reported here).
If industry analyst prediction is anything to go by, their hard work is set to pay off.
See the numbers inside:
Predicted First Week Sales (SPS): 265,000 units
Predicted Billboard 200 Debut: #1
If the numbers above ring true, ‘BE’ will not only be BTS’ second Billboard 200 chart-topper of 2020 alone but their fifth overall.
Its projected final figure may pale in comparison to the 422,000 shifted by March 2020’s ‘Map of the Soul: 7,’ but – if accomplished – it will log the group’s second best first-week sales in America to date.
