Here’s a reason to party!
Just a day ahead of her 21st birthday (January 9), rising rapstress Flo Milli learned her breakthrough hit, ‘In the Party,’ danced its way to Gold status at the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Details inside:
On January 8, the RIAA updated its logs to reveal the Mobile, Alabama-born beauty’s ‘In the Party’ had distinct honor of becoming her first Gold certification – a measure that denotes 500,000 in sales equivalence.
Found aboard her 2020-released debut mixtape, ‘Ho, Why Is You Here?’ (courtesy of RCA Records), ‘Party’ is just one of many tunes that kept Milli on the lips of her growing legion of fans and industry critics last year – including Rap publication ‘XXL’ that included her on the shortlist of their highly coveted 2020 Freshman Class.
While she didn’t make the final cut, that hasn’t stopped eyes and ears from being drawn to her Soundcloud, Spotify, and Youtube pages as each boasts millions of views of her uploaded work.
