Gwen Stefani has poured out her new single ‘Slow Clap.’
Arriving on the heels of buzz cut ‘Let Me Reintroduce Myself,’ the song was co-written by the singer alongside Ross Golan and Luke Niccoli — reuniting the same team at the helm of its preceding release.
The track once again finds the No Doubt diva dabbling in a multitude of genres. Indeed, ‘Slow Clap’ fuses elements of Pop, Reggae, and even sprinkles of Country.
Lyrically, Stefani encourages resilience and confidence in the face of adversity:
“Been the champion, rang the bell / Rocked the bottom, been through hell,” she sings. “Climbed the mountain, now I’m well / I just feel like coming back for the belt.”

We like. Do you?
I love this song as well! I like she’s giving us the no doubt style with a modern twist! Her last album good and based off the new songs I can’t wait
basura…..this is not 2005…..honestly she woulda been better going back to No Doubt and bringing back rock music. this sounds like she’s trying way too hard…
My new theme song for being the Queen I am 💋
Her lyrics are childish, at best. She can’t really sing either. Katy Perry 1.0
Gwen, Time for a greatest hits 2004-2021💅🏿💅🏿
Knowing her this won’t even be on the album. And if it flops the album will drop in 2022 and sound nothing like this. Her sound and release strategy made absolutely no sense last time.
That being said I like this though. It’s good
This is kinda cute. My expectations weren’t very high. Wonder what the visual will bring…
This era sounds like those bad singles before she released This Is What The Truth Feels Like album. Im talking about “Baby Dont Lie” and “Spark The Fire”. Messy rythms and images. Collage type of products that didnt work out and the same is happening now with “Let Me Reintroduce Myself” and “Slow Clap”. At least she can scrap the first two songs once again and release a more mature album just like she did the previous era. She needs to ’cause this ain’t going anywhere but the trash can.
I don’t like it. Very weak.
I think it’s a little immature for her.
What the F is this?
You’re 50. C’mon Gwen, you know you’re better than this…
