Miley Cyrus is making her stance on COVID-19 vaccination clear with the stunning live performance music video for her latest single, ‘Angels Like You.’
Co-directed with Alana O’Herlihy, the ‘Angels’ visual – filmed February 7 (the same day as the 2021 Super Bowl) – sees Cyrus dressed in the same gear she rocked for her critically acclaimed pre-game concert as part of the TikTok Tailgate show.
Including shots of the audience comprised of fully vaccinated, mask-wearing essential and frontline workers and other frontline workers, Miley concludes the clip with a handwritten message for viewers.
“The audience here is fully vaccinated health care workers who have been fearlessly + tirelessly fighting COVID-19,” reads the note. “We all look forward to being together again + this can happen sooner than we may have thought with vaccines becoming more available. Each of us can help stop the pandemic by being vaccinated. Together we can make the experience of live music a reality again.”
