For, on April 9 the track scored a whopping 1,619,773 streams on Spotify – the highest single-day sum it’s amassed on the market-leading platform.
It puts the cut in contention for continued climbing on the main Hot 100 and extends its undeniable longevity – given that the song first premiered back in January.

It’s ok guys to let other females shine. Why are we surprised? It’s a catchy song and definitely deserves some type of hype. It’s a feel good summer bop. I see it not going away but up for a while. Not saying it’s a number 1 song but it’s definitely not bad.
