Taylor Swift is turning her sadness into success.
The singer embarked on the re-recording of her albums after her masters were sold by her former record label.
Now, she’s reaping the rewards with ‘Fearless’ – the first of her “Taylor’s Version” re-releases.

The re-recorded version of the set (which was first released in November 2008 and went on to become one of Swift’s most successful LPs) has premiered at #1 on the Billboard 200 with equivalent sales of 291,000.
Of the sum, 179,000 are pure sales (rendering the LP the top-selling album of the week). The 142.98 million on-demand streams of the album’s tracks amounted to 109,000 units.
Comprised of the original’s tracks and additional previously unheard “From The Vault” recordings, ‘Fearless (Taylor’s Version)’ is the only #1 album of its kind: in that it’s a re-recording of an artist’s (own or another’s) previously released album.
It’s also the singer’s third #1 in less than a year, following the success of ‘Folklore’ and ‘Evermore.’
Congrats!
