Kandi Burruss is renowned for keeping it real. As such, it was only a matter of time before she addressed the shade grenade thrown her way by Boyz II Men‘s lead singer Wanya Morris.
As widely reported, Morris took umbrage at Burruss telling an interviewer that her session with his group was the worst of her career.
Clapping back, he labeled her a “reality star” and questioned her present activity in music.
Now, Burruss has responded – and she’s done so in detail.
While keeping it classy, she doubled down on her stance and unpacked a shocking narrative centered on “ego” and sexism. A narrative that will no doubt raise eyebrows.
According to Burruss, the entire episode was “disrespectful as f**k.”

Wow.
No word yet from Wanya, but here’s his original jab…
I believe her cause many have said Boys 2 Men were big egos and thought they were larger than life they even tired to s*** on Babyface?!
They would tell people if it was a issue cuz boys to men have respect for babyface. They not gonna bad mouth him
excuse me they would not tell people if there was an issue I normally don’t spell check on here
Kandi had me rolling in the end. Anyway, I believe Kandi because this isn’t the first time we have heard a producer or songwriter say this about them. Kandi simply said it was her worst experience with an artist. That’s her truth. But the creative process is very unique to each individual and can’t always go smoothly. Real moments or breaks in professionalism obviously can happen. But I actually learned something here so thank you Kandi. 🙂
Dallas Austin said those guys were difficult 👀
Boyz 2 men have always showed respect to the public for babyface, and Michael bivens
