This looks so weird. I suppose it’s because the guy in the video is CLEARLY FLAMIN’, Jesus. I guess the song is about a best friend keeping secrets because I can’t take the guy in the video seriously as OUT THERE as he is.

The song is great jojo looks amazing but this video looks so weird. The guy is no shade at allllll obviously gay he smizing and twirling more that jo jo and that’s ok but why play straight in the video? They vibe and chemistry was awkward as hell. I definitely won’t watch it again but I will support the song it is good music and he sounds great just be u but I didn’t like the video

      Hey there!
I’ve actually been an openly gay artist for 6 years plus. All my music and all that I do publicly is very much catered to being open and dedicated to my community. This video has nothing to do with “playing straight” there’s no point that we are romantic in this visual at all. Paper magazine actually ran an entire article about the concept and how platonic love is rarely showcased within visuals. Seems that people have a tough time digesting a male and female bedt friend relationship and that to me is really weird. She gets stood up by her Man in the video and I come to offer her support snd make her feel better. We’re not kissing, or being romantic in any sense. I’m literally there to offer her a safe space and make her feel better. I’m an LGBTQ advocate very loudly so thank you for telling me to “be me” but I have been for a very long time. I think that we need to maybe accept that platonic friendships exist and sexuality doesn’t have to be a factor in something that has nothing to do with s**/romance. Thanks for supporting the song tho!
