Polo G’s heat streak was rewarded with a #1 debut for his ‘Hall of Fame’ album on the coveted count.
The MC managed the feat with first-week equivalent sales of 143,000.
Following close behind are Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff, whose hotly anticipated LP ‘Culture III’ launches at #2 with 130,500. Of that sum, 106,000 was accrued via streaming.
The star-studded set features collaborations with the likes of Drake, Cardi B, Justin Bieber, and Future.
While its debut is solid, it is the first of the group’s ‘Culture’ collection to not open at #1.
2017’s ‘Culture’ topped the tally with 131,000 – almost exactly the same numbers as their current effort; while 2018’s ‘Culture II’ launched in pole position with 199,000 in 2018.
