Britney Spears is continuing to speak up and speak out after the jaw-dropping testimony she gave at her latest conservatorship hearing yesterday (June 24).
As reported, the Pop icon shattered her silence regarding the legal mandate that has governed her life and career since 2008.
Stressing that she is “no one’s slave,” she shared harrowing details about her treatment, denounced members of her family and team, and called for an immediate end to the conservatorship – sans a medical evaluation.
Now, she’s addressed the matter the more.

Taking to Instagram, Spears shared a picture-quote with the caption:
“I just want to tell you guys a little secret 🤫 … I believe as people we all want the fairy tale life and by the way I’ve posted … my life seems to look and be pretty amazing … I think that’s what we all strive for !!!!
That was one of my mother’s best traits … no matter how sh*tty a day was when I was younger … for the sake of me and my siblings she always pretended like everything was ok. I’m bringing this to peoples attention because I don’t want people to think my life is perfect because IT’S DEFINITELY NOT AT ALL … and if you have read anything about me in the news this week 📰 … you obviously really know now it’s not !!!! I apologize for pretending like I’ve been ok the past two years … I did it because of my pride and I was embarrassed to share what happened to me … but honestly who doesn’t want to capture there Instagram in a fun light 💡🤷🏼♀️ !!!!

Maybe the dosage Britney is being prescribed is worth looking at, but there are plenty of celebrities who take bipolar medication including Jim Carrey and Jennifer Lewis who have talked about the episodes they suffer without it. Anyone who is personally familiar with bipolar disorder knows that the affected person does not reason well without some amount of medication and will sometimes argue that they are better off without it. Britney should certainly have more control over her life, but being on bipolar meds does not mean she’s being taken advantage of. If her family is all about the money as some people say, doesn’t that mean they would want her in the best possible condition to continue performing?
