Justine Skye: “Y’all Be Hyping Up Mediocre Sh*t”

Published: Saturday 5th Jun 2021 by Sam

Justine Skye has something to get off her chest about the modern music market.

Her unique choice of words below…

Seemingly randomly, the rising R&B singer took to Twitter to say:

“Y’all be hyping up mediocre sh*t and then be mad about the state of music these days. Take responsibility

Say whatever you want about me and my music. This album bout to shut all that talk up. I have a whole @Timbaland produced album with a Justin Timberlake feature and I’m COMPLETELY independent. I’m clearly doing something right

While some corners of her comments may have validity, there is an unavoidable element of “well, show and prove then.”

We’ve long seen Justine’s potential, but there is unquestionably room for improvement. A fact that makes her words ironic to say the least.

Suffice to say, she’s upped the expectation of her upcoming music.
