If her Saturday shade trade with fellow rapper DaBaby is any evidence (June 19), ‘Savage’ hitmaker Megan Thee Stallion is looking to prove she is still just that.

From speaking glowingly of him in interviews to multiple collaborations over her career (see: ‘Cry Baby,’ ‘Cash $hit,‘ etc.), longtime Stallion (born Megan Pete) fans know she’s made no secret of her fondness of DaBaby (born Jonathan Kirk) over the years.
Yet, due to her highly publicized beef with Tory Lanez, her supporters – affectionately called #Hotties – weren’t particularly warm to the idea Kirk collaborated with the Canadian rapper on his recent release, ‘SKAT.’ The stance is one obviously shared by Pete as she unfollowed Kirk on social media shortly after the video was released.
Though it’s been days since that drama, Megan chose virtual violence Saturday (Juneteenth 2021) after DaBaby retweeted a tweet that read:
Once fans began calling him out on the insensitivity of the tweet, Kirk alleges he never retweeted it.
Eventually, the hoopla got to the desk of Stallion who called him out for the content of the post.
From there, the two engaged in a fiery exchange.
Later, Pardison Fontaine – Meg’s boyfriend – entered the chat.
To which DaBaby replied:
