This weekend brings with it the 20th anniversary of Alicia Keys‘ groundbreaking debut album, ‘Songs in A Minor.’
The effort – which has sold over 12 million copies worldwide and won the diva a record-setting 5 GRAMMY awards in one night – is hailed as one of the greatest R&B LPs of the century as it helped launch Keys to an incomparable career in the genre.
To commemorate its birthday and impact, the songstress (born Alicia Cook) is unveiling a double deluxe edition of the project – one digital/one vinyl (as we reported here) – that includes an expanded tracklist featuring remixes and more.
While the vinyl won’t hit shelves until December, its digital iteration lands on Apple Music, Spotify, and other streaming services Friday (June 4) at midnight. Look inside to stream it:
