New Song: Tinashe – ‘I Can See the Future’

Published: Saturday 24th Jul 2021 by Rashad

Tinashe may be enjoying critical acclaim aplenty for her latest singles ‘Pasadena’ and ‘Bouncin,’ but that doesn’t mean the stageblazer is resting on her laurels.

Just days after unveiling the cover art and release date of her new album, ‘333,’ she has pulled another number from the project for your listening pleasure.

“Got a smart mouth for you dumb-dumbs / He say he tired of these of these b*tches, now he want one / Kitty in your mouth, got your tongue-tongue / You know I’m one of a kind, got that one of one,” she croons on new song ‘I Can See the Future.’

Hear it in full inside:

‘Future,’ ‘Pasadena,’ and ‘Bouncin’ are just three of the 16 tracks set to line ‘333’ upon its August 6 release.

i know y’all are gonna hate but I was listening in the gym last night and I love it.
Tinashe is one of the hardest working independent artists – shiiiit, she even works harder than those signed to labels. I’m looking forward to her new album. She deserves the support.

Feels like it’s almost there. A demo that needs some refinement

I don’t like her vocals here at all. I know sometimes, she’ll intentionally go for the lazy, minimalist, chill vibe, but here it just didn’t work. The song had potential, but she didn’t elevate it. I feel like if you gave for example, Doja this beat, it would’ve been a way better song. Less isn’t always more. It’s not like her voice is extremely unique and dynamic or her lyrics are that deep. In her case, less is even less.

It’s the chorus that falls flat.
