Fans of both ladies won’t have to wait long for the song either.
Because the former Fifth Harmony singer has confirmed that ‘Wild Side’ will be unleashed this Friday (July 16).
The release serves as the lead offering from Normani’s eagerly anticipated album debut and follows breakout hits such as ‘Motivation,’ as well as Billboard top 10’s ‘Love Lies’ (with Khalid) and ‘Dancing With a Stranger’ (with Sam Smith).
For Cardi, ‘Wild Side’ comes on the heels of chart-toppers ‘Up’ and ‘WAP’ (the video for which Normani appeared in). It also arrives weeks after she announced she was pregnant with her second child.

The production value of this MV is incredible and the choreography was on point. Kudos to the team who made it happen! As for the song, I gotta be honest I’m not digging it yet but maybe later. I’m still a massive fan of ‘Motivation’ so I was expecting a good follow-up to that. Seems like she wants to go in a different musical direction that’s akin to ‘Waves’. Hope she will eventually find her lane in the industry so that her label will allow her to drop her debut album.
