A year after the incident that saw Tory Lanez charged for allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion, the Canadian performer is suggesting that he was “framed.”

The surprising remark was made as part of a freestyle during a visit to Hot 97 today.
As host Funkmaster Flex watched on, Lanez shouted out a number of his recent collaborators and then appeared to protest his innocence”

i really don’t like him but i’m inclined to believe him given that no charges were ever filed. how do you shoot someone, it’s on the front page of TMZ, and yet no charges or arrest?!
I was recently in a situation where people wouldn’t listen (a man was fighting his girlfriend) and I threatened to call the cops cause I didn’t know what to do. They were parked in front of my property.
I told them I called but I really didn’t. If I were to have really done it I’m not confident it would have helped. Matter of fact I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t have.
This was probably her thinking as well. I didn’t want to be responsible for another senseless death by the police so I didn’t call. They ended up leaving finally with that threat though.
The case is still ongoing, tje charges against him haven’t been dropped.

Sorry but if you actually think about it what he said could possibly b true. Where’s the evidence where a pic of her foot having a bullet hole or something. It can be a possibility she lied about what happened that night. Nobody would have awarded her all that if that didn’t happen.

Hey I could be wrong about what I’m saying, but where is the actual evidence and why isn’t he behind bars etc. All I’m saying is something just doesn’t add up. I guess will never know what happen will we.
Megan doesn’t have to prove her case to us; we’re the public, not the jury. We went wrong somewhere in society thinking prosecutors owe us pictures and other pieces of evidence outside of the courtroom. No prosecutor in their right mind would press charges against Tory if there weren’t hospital records and other evidence to support Megan’s statements. There’s also a protective order in place which, again, doesn’t happen without evidence.
