This week, the track climbed from #4 to #1 on the coveted count and in the process bumped BTS’ ‘Butter’ from the top spot.
The collaboration serves as The Kid LAROI’s first chart-topper and Bieber’s eighth.
So how did the pair pull off the feat?
‘Stay’ stormed to pole position with 31.9 million radio airplay audience impressions, 30.9 million streams, and sold 14,400 downloads – which was assisted by a discount to $0.69.
The feat sees The Kid LAROI become the first Australian-born male soloist to top the Hot 100 since Rick Springfield with ‘Jessie’s Girl’ 40 years ago.
