On this week’s iteration of the coveted count, ‘Essence’ leaped 28 spots to #16.
The Tems assisted cut benefited from the boost given by the Justin Bieber remix of the track.
In achieving the feat, the song re-affirms its position as Wizkid’s highest-charting release on the Hot 100 as the lead artist. He previously hit #1 as a feature on Drake’s 2016 smash ‘One Dance.’
Its climb comes as the Starboy gears up for the release of the deluxe edition of ‘Made In Lagos’ and the launch of the project’s like-titled tour.
