Lizzo is speaking out.
During her appearance on Good Morning America on August 18, the GRAMMY-winner opened up about struggling with acceptance and being bullied.

During the interview, she went to insist that Black women are the innovators in the industry and are often not credited as such, saying:
“We are the ones who do suffer from the marginalization the most and the erasure the most.”
She then went on to say that had it not been for social media or the internet, she would have been “erased.” She added to her statement, saying:
“But I chose to be undeniable and I chose to be loud and I chose to be great. And I’m still here.”
The sit down with GMA follows her tearful Instagram video, where she addressed “fat-phobic” and “racist” comments after the release of her new single ‘Rumors’ with Cardi B.
